The Dawes Glacier is the 600 foot tall tidewater glacier that produces calving events. It is at the end of the 30 mile Endicott Arm fjord within Tracy-Arm Fords Wilderness and Tongass National Forest. Lookout for steep granite walls, cascading waterfalls, whales, mountain goats, harbor seals, brown and black bears.
